This Privacy Policy explains how the iOS app “Resitori (レシとり)” (the “App”) handles information.
Basic Policy
The App is designed to help users photograph receipts, adjust their four corners, and save the corrected images to the Photos app.
Receipt image detection, correction, preview, and related processing are performed on the user’s device. The App does not send camera images, corrected images, or purchase information contained in receipts to the developer’s servers.
Information Handled by the App
The App may handle the following information on the user’s device in order to provide its features.
| Information | Purpose | External transmission |
|---|---|---|
| Camera video | Receipt detection and camera screen display | No |
| Photographed receipt images | Corner correction, preview, and saving | No |
| Corrected images | Saving to the Photos app and user-initiated sharing | No |
| Purchase information contained in receipt images | May be included as part of saved images | No |
Receipts may include information such as store names, purchase dates and times, purchased items, and amounts. Before sharing a saved image, please check the destination and the content included in the image.
Saving to the Photos App
The App saves corrected images to the Photos app based on the user’s actions. To save images to the Photos app, the App uses the iOS permission for adding photos.
The App does not use this permission to read existing photos in the user’s photo library. Saved images can be viewed, shared, or deleted by the user in the Photos app.
In-App Storage
The App handles images and processing results on the user’s device as needed for photography and correction. Data stored in the App is generally deleted when the App is deleted. However, images saved to the Photos app may remain in the Photos app even after the App is deleted.
Advertising, Tracking, and Purchases
As of the version current at the time this Policy was created, the App does not include advertising, tracking, external analytics SDKs, or in-app purchases.
If features that affect information handling, such as advertising, analytics, in-app purchases, or cloud sync, are added in the future, this Privacy Policy and the App Store disclosures will be updated to reflect the actual handling of information.
Third-Party SDKs
The App may use third-party libraries for image processing. These libraries are used for image processing within the App and are not used to send receipt images or purchase information to the developer’s servers or to third-party servers.
Information Provided During Inquiries
When a user contacts the developer by email or another method, the developer may receive information voluntarily provided by the user, such as an email address, inquiry text, or attached images. This information is used only to respond to the inquiry, investigate the issue, and provide necessary communication.
If you attach a receipt image to an inquiry, please check whether it contains personal information or purchase history before sending it.
Information Handled by Apple
Information handled by Apple features and services, including the App Store, iOS, the Photos app, crash reports, and App Analytics, is subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy.
User Controls
Users can change the App’s camera permission and photo-add permission in the iOS Settings app.
Images saved from the App to the Photos app can be deleted from the Photos app. Data stored by the App itself can be deleted by deleting the App.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated in response to feature additions, service changes, legal or regulatory changes, or changes to App Store requirements. If there are important changes, notice will be provided through appropriate means, such as in-app notices, the developer’s website, or App Store descriptions.
