This Privacy Policy explains how Super Memo handles information when you use the app.
Information You Provide in the App
Super Memo lets you create and manage notes, tags, archives, and optional URLs. This content is stored on your device. The app developer does not operate a server that receives or stores your note content.
When you use the Share Extension, text or URLs shared from other apps may be temporarily stored in the app group area on your device so that Super Memo can add them to your notes.
iCloud Backup and Restore
If you use the iCloud backup or restore feature, your notes, tags, and archives may be copied to your iCloud account using Apple’s iCloud service. This feature is controlled by your device and iCloud settings. The app developer does not receive your iCloud backup data.
Notifications
If you enable notification features, selected note text may be scheduled as a local notification on your device. Depending on your iOS notification settings, the note text may appear in Notification Center or on the lock screen. You can manage notification permissions in iOS Settings.
URL Import
If you import notes from a text file URL, the app connects to the URL you enter and downloads the text file. The server hosting that URL may receive technical information such as your IP address under that server’s own policies. Super Memo does not upload your notes to that server.
Crash Reporting
Super Memo uses Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) to help improve app stability. If the app crashes, technical information such as the stack trace, device model, OS version, and app version is automatically collected and sent. This information is used solely for fixing bugs and is not used to identify individual users.

Advertising
Super Memo uses Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display ads. Google and its partners may collect and use information such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, ad interactions, app interactions, crash logs, and performance data for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
If you purchase the ad removal feature, ads are disabled in the app after the purchase is applied.

In-App Purchases
Super Memo offers an in-app purchase to remove ads. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. The app receives purchase status needed to unlock the feature, but the app developer does not receive your payment card details.
For more information about Apple’s handling of App Store purchase information, please see Apple’s App Store & Privacy page .
Data Retention and Deletion
Notes, tags, archives, and app preferences remain on your device until you delete them in the app, reset the app data, or uninstall the app. Data backed up to iCloud is managed through your iCloud account and device settings.
Information handled by Google AdMob, Firebase Crashlytics, Apple, or other third-party services is retained according to each provider’s policies.
Children’s Privacy
Super Memo is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app or through a related contact form, please contact us so that we can review the matter.
International Processing
Third-party services used by the app, including Google AdMob, Firebase Crashlytics, Apple App Store, and iCloud, may process information in countries or regions outside your country of residence according to their own policies.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app’s features, third-party services, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
